INA Ltd has own new built distillery for processing essential oils. The Distillery spreads on 350 sq.m. with an annual capacity of 40 kg of rose oil and 4000 kg of lavender oil.
Rose oil is obtained from the fresh flowers of the Rosa damascena through water distillation.
The production of one kilogram of Rose oil requires about three thousand kilogrammes of rose blossom, which makes it the most expensive essential oil in the world.
Rose oil is one of the symbols of Bulgaria. For over 300 years people inhabiting the Rose valley have grown roses and processed them into Rose oil, known in all over the world with its superb quality and unique aroma.
